Strictly Come Dancing is finally back on our screens from this weekend bringing a new line-up of celebrities to the popular BBC dancing competition.
Among the 15 contestants set to step onto the floor with professional dance partner Neil Jones is TV legend Toyah Wilcox. The 66-year-old entertainer, who was born in Birmingham, has been in show business for a long time, enjoying incredible acting and singing successes.
And during the later stages of her career, she has has also been a regular television presenter. In a career spanning more than 40 years, she has had eight top 40 singles, released over 20 albums, written two books, appeared in over 40 stage plays and 10 feature films, and voiced and presented numerous television shows.
This is no mean feat for the singer, considering the gutsy star has not had it easy when it has come to her health.
