Taoiseach: 'Every sacrifice we make is helping to save someone's life'

The Covid-19 restrictions have been extended for a further three weeks until Tuesday 5 May. Taoiseach Leo Varadkar made the announcement this afternoon following a meeting of the National Public Health Emergency team.

He said people were wondering when life would get back to normal, adding that the Government were working toward that and planning carefully, "so we get there safely".
