Television set for cataclysmic changes as coronavirus chaos hits hard

The coronavirus is affecting everyone, regardless of their profession, and with more and more people being stuck at home, they're turning to television to ease their boredom.

But TV networks are already announcing that production of series currently underway has been stopped, with the likes of RuPaul's Drag Race UK, Peaky Blinders, Line of Duty, Stranger Things and many more facing delays.

Meanwhile, UK soaps have confirmed that episodes will be rationed to try and keep them on-screen for as long as possible while channels decide how to keep production going as safely as possible.

Then, shows such as Loose Women and Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway are continuing production, but without live studio audiences.
