Ten people in Dumfries and Galloway have died as a result of coronavirus.The region’s health board announced at the start of the week there had been the first deaths where Covid-19 was either the primary cause or a potential factor.Chief executive Jeff Ace has now revealed the number reached double figures as of 12noon today.Mr Ace said: “Our thoughts are very much with those people’s family and friends at this time.“We are also very thoughtful of people who are currently receiving treatment, or self-isolating with milder symptoms.“Dumfries and Galloway is not immune to the dangers posed by Covid-19.“Although the vast majority of people who contract this coronavirus will experience mild symptoms, as we know from elsewhere in the world those
