Testing and tracing to halt the deadly spread of coronavirus must become a 'new way of life', the health secretary has said as a new national programme begins today.
And Matt Hancock warned the NHS Test and Trace programme could become mandatory if needed. He said that collectively, if the country doesn't make it work, the 'only way forward is the lockdown'.
