American diner TGI Fridays has reopened 12 more branches in the UK for takeaway orders and online deliveries. The move follows reopenings from rival chains Nando's, KFC and Wagamama during the Covid-19 crisis.

After reopening 24 restaurants on May 6, TGI Fridays said it would reopen 12 more restaurants on May 27. All branches will be available for click and collect orders, while the majority will also offer home delivery options.

For click and collect orders, customers will be able to pay for their order on the TGI Fridays website before collecting it from outside their nearest branch.
