This Morning viewers cast verdict on Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard amid same 'error' complaint

This Morning viewers have been rushing to cast their verdict on Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley as they hosted their first official show as permanent co-hosts.

It was last month that the pair were announced last month as the permanent replacements for Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on the ITV daytime show.

Former Good Morning Britain star Ben and So You Think You Can Dance host Cat have never hosted the show together before, however, they had had appearances on the show in the months following Phillip's exit in May as Ben hosted with Holly while Cat teamed up with Rylan Clark and Craig Doyle following Holly's exit in October.

The new duo will host from Monday to Thursday while Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary present their usual Friday show. However, Alison won't be back on screens until April as she revealed she was taking March off to move home and spend time with her teen son, Aiden. Cat, 47, said: "We are so excited to be here … This show has been a huge part of our lives for so long, so to be actually standing here with you, it’s good." Ben agreed, saying: "It is very special, we are thrilled to be here.£ He also thanked those who have sent them messages of support.
