Transport for London (TfL) says it believes at least 57 of its workers have died during the coronavirus pandemic. Those numbers reportedly included 42 bus staff and eight Tube and rail workers.
Tube and rail head office workers, three TfL head office staff, and four workers from partner organisations also died, according to the Evening Standard's health editor.
The capital's transport union claimed at least three TfL workers died with the virus in recent days. Transport workers' unions and grieving families have expressed alarm throughout the pandemic at the numbers falling ill and dying with the virus.
