VAN HORN, Texas - Space tourism company Blue Origin had an unexpected test of its rocket’s in-flight abort system during a Monday morning launch, though no people were onboard at the time.The New Shepherd rocket blasted off from west Texas just before 9:30 a.m., carrying a capsule full of experiments on what was supposed to be a 10-minute ride to the edge of space and back. PHILADELPHIA - A teenage boy is being held responsible for the shooting of a 19-year-old at a busy SEPTA station in Philadelphia this summer, according to the District Attorney's Office.Police say the victim was shot in the chest, stomach and hand at the 15th Street Station under City Hall on July 14. He reportedly fought for his life for 13 days.Officials say the incident began after a 14-year-old suspect boarded a train at the 69th Street Station with a loaded 9mm gun. Both the suspect and victim reportedly got into an argument and drew guns when exiting the train. Officials say the suspect then shot the victim at close range and escaped in the chaos of running passengers.

PHILADELPHIA - A child has been reunited with its mother after it was inside a car that was stolen from a driveway in Fox Chase, police say. The Philadelphia Police Department's Special Victim's Unit is investigating the incident. Authorities say a baby was inside a Nissan Rogue taken from the 800 block of Arnold Street in the Fox Chase section of the city. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESAccording to officials, police tracked the mother's AirPods that were in the vehicle, which led them to find it at Castor and Griffith Streets in Rhawnhurst. Police did not provide any additional information but say the case remains under investigation. 

PHILADELPHIA - Homicide detectives with the Philadelphia Police Department are investigating a shooting that left one man dead. According to police, officers responded to a residence on the 100 block of Washington Lane around 12:40 a.m. on Monday for reports of a shooting. Authorities say a 37-year-old man was found dead on his front lawn. Witnesses told investigators that a black Sedan parked in front of the victim's house and waited for him to come outside before a man stepped outside of the car and "ambushed and executed," according to Captain Anthony Ginaldi. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESThe man was a SEPTA manager and father of seven, police say. Officials says 15 spent shell casings were found on the scene. Ginaldi says the bullets were fired in rapid succession, leading authorities to believe that the gun used in the shooting may have been modified. According to authorities, there is surveillance video that investigators will use as part of the ongoing investigation. Police say a 37-year-old father of seven was "ambushed and executed" on his front lawn in Germantown.
