The country suspended flights from the UK, Denmark, South Africa and the Netherlands on Sunday night, in response to the new strain said to be circulating within the countries.Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said that at the time of the announcement, 335 passengers from these countries were immediately tested and isolated on arrival.“Measures are carried out in full coordination,” Koca added.Mr Koca says that tracing efforts had located 4,603 people who arrived in Turkey from the UK since December 14 and asked to self-isolate in their place of residence or hotel.
