One of the UK's top medics has launched a furious broadside against conspiracy theories linking the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic with the rise in use of 5G mobile technology.
Speaking at today's Downing Street press briefing Cabinet Minister Michael Gove was asked to comment on reports that people had begun burning down masts over claims they were related to rising cases of Covid-19. "That is nonsense, dangerous nonsense," Mr Gove said before immediately handing over to NHS England's National Medical Director Prof Stephen Powis.
