Mack III, 33, were on the highway responding to a call for a man walking in the southbound lanes of the roadway when police say all three were struck and killed by a suspected drunk driver. Authorities say Jayana Tanae Webb, 21, was behind the wheel of the SUV when it plowed into the men, sending all three over the median and into the northbound lanes.

PHILADELPHIA - A Philadelphia cat is heading home from the vet on Friday after authorities say he was the victim of an intentional dog attack.Officials are calling the recovery of Buddy the cat ‘miraculous’ as he heads to a foster home with a veterinarian where he’ll get continued care.Last week, Buddy was on a front porch in Philadelphia’s Frankford neighborhood. Video of the incident showed two suspects, ages 17 and 12, walking by the porch with their dogs. When the suspects spotted the car, authorities say they dropped the dogs’ leashes, allowing their lunging dogs to attack a defenseless Buddy.

CAMDEN, N.J. - A New Jersey man who conspired with his girlfriend to concoct a feelgood story about a helpful homeless man and then used the lie to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations online is scheduled to be sentenced in a federal court Friday. Last fall, Mark D’Amico pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud. An indictment unsealed in January 2020 charged D'Amico with a total of 16 counts of conspiracy, wire fraud and money laundering.D’Amico, his former girlfriend Katelyn McClure, and a homeless veteran named Johnny Bobbitt were accused of making up a story in 2017 about Bobbitt giving $20 to help McClure when her car ran out of gas in Philadelphia.D'Amico and McClure solicited donations through GoFundMe, purportedly to help Bobbitt, and conducted newspaper and television interviews.

Police said an officer was hit by a suspected drunk driver who was later arrested after he sped away. PHILADELPHIA - Authorities say a driver whose license was suspended last year for drunk driving was intoxicated when he plowed into a Philadelphia police officer Wednesday night. Terrell Lee, 41, was charged Thursday with a number of crimes including aggravated assault and aggravated assault while DUI. Chief Inspector Scott Small told reporters that two officers were walking back to their car during a traffic stop on the 6700 block of Torresdale Avenue when the officer nearest the road was struck by a black Chevy that crossed over the double yellow lines. Small said the 44-year-old officer was launched 10 feet and landed on the northbound side of the road.

BENSALEM, Pa. - A Philadelphia man is facing charges after investigators say he stabbed a former co-worker over 50 times and ran him over before dumping his body at a Bucks County train station. Dominique Harris, 30, was taken into custody Thursday morning by officers from the Philadelphia Police Department after his vehicle was spotted near Broad Street and Hunting Park Avenue. He has been charged with criminal homicide and possession of an instrument of crime. It's alleged that Harris ambushed 54-year-old Michael Pickens as he ws taking out the trash at a Bensalem Wendy's early Wednesday morning.

PHILADELPHIA - A Philadelphia school was briefly placed on lockdown Thursday morning after police say a child brought a gun to school and it accidentally went off outside. The incident occurred Thursday morning, around 9 a.m., at the West Philadelphia Achievement Charter Elementary School. Police say an 8-year-old boy was found with a weapon inside the school and that the weapon was accidentally discharged in the schoolyard. The school was placed on lockdown just before 9 a.m. and the lockdown was lifted about 15 minutes later. Police say the weapon was recovered and no one was injured.

BRISTOL, Pa. - A large contingent of law enforcement officers traveled to Bucks County on Wednesday for a viewing for Pennsylvania State Trooper Martin Mack III, who was killed by an alleged drunk driver on I-95 in Philadelphia in March."We have to continue to pray for them every day they’re doing a very difficult job and obviously it can have deadly consequences and I just feel awful," Bucks County District Attorney Matthew Weintraub said. The deadly crash happened over a week ago on Interstate 95 in South Philadelphia near the sports complex. PHILADELPHIA - A suspect has died after police say he was shot by a customer inside a North Philadelphia corner store that he was attempting to rob Wednesday afternoon. The incident occurred shortly after noon on the 1400 block of Master Street – a few blocks from Temple University’s campus. Police say the unidentified suspect was armed with a gun and attempting to rob a corner store when a customer who was inside shot him multiple times. Following the shooting, police initially identified the shooter as the store's owner. Sources, including the owner, tell FOX 29 that it was actually a customer who opened fire.The suspect was hit twice in the chest and twice in the abdomen.

PHILADELPHIA - Law enforcement sources tell FOX 29 that a man shot to death at a Philadelphia gas station over the weekend is the same man who drove himself to River's Casino in a bullet-riddled car nearly a month ago. Sources tell FOX 29's Steve Keeley that the 28-year-old man was killed late Sunday night in a hail of gunfire at the Sunoco Gas Station on the 5600 block of Ridge Avenue. Officers from the Philadelphia Police Department followed a trail of blood about half a block away and found the unnamed victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

PHILADELPHIA - A Philadelphia church is ready to welcome the first Ukrainian refuges to the city after a treacherous journey to escape their war-torn homeland. St. Nicholas Patriarchal Orthodox Church in North Philadelphia will welcome Alla and Veronika Tuesday night. The woman walked 450 miles from Kiev to Warsaw, Poland to escape the war. Vice President and Choir Director Susan Guz, and Bishop Luke traveled to JFK Airport to pick up the women.

PHILADELPHIA - Authorities say a driver wanted for a road rage incident who lead police on a pursuit through Philadelphia was behind the wheel of a carjacked vehicle wanted in connection to a robbery and kidnapping in Pittsburgh. Police Chief Inspector Scott Small told reporters that the 24-year-old driver allegedly pointed a gun at a couple while driving a Toyota Camry on the 200 block of Ann Street around 9 p.m. The couple retained the vehicle's information, including its license plate, and contacted police about the incident. Small said officers later pulled over the car on Jasper Street in Kensington. During the traffic stop, Small said the driver got out of the vehicle, then got back into the driver's seat and sped away.

Authorities said the tracked the carjacked vehicle for about an hour before officers caught up to it. PHILADELPHIA - Authorities said two teens were found in a carjacked vehicle Tuesday afternoon that police later found guns and suspected cocaine inside. Chief Inspector Scott Small told reporters that a woman was carjacked by an armed young man around 4 p.m. on 11th and Stiles streets in North Philadelphia.Police used a tracking device inside the car to follow its location to several neighborhoods over an hour period, Small said. Officers finally caught up to the carjacked Kia sedan on 13th and Lehigh streets, then followed it onto the 1100 block of Silver Street, according to investigators. Small said the stolen vehicle was slammed into by a passing vehicle at the intersection of 11th and Silver streets. A boy and girl, both 17, were taken into custody by trailing officers, according to police.

PHILADELPHIA - The family of a Philadelphia man whose body was found wrapped in a tarp and dumped in a vacant lot in Kensington is searching for answers. According to investigators, the body of 34-year-old Sirius Star was found Friday in the vacant lot on the 2800 block of Ruth Street. Police say Star's hands and feet were bound, and the medical examiner's office determined that he died from a gunshot wound to the forehead. A short video clip obtained by FOX 29 shows two people pushing the body in a shopping cart and trying to move it. In the days following the gruesome discovery, Star's family told FOX 29's Kelly Rule that he split time between Philadelphia and Las Vegas. He worked odd jobs while in Philadelphia and sold solar panels while in Las Vegas. According to investigators, the body of 34-year-old Sirius Star was found Friday in the vacant lot on the 2800 block of Ruth Street.  Family members say Starr was working at a home construction project on Rorer Street, which isn't far from the vacant lot where his body was found.

PHILADELPHIA - Authorities believe a man was intoxicated when he jumped the curb of a Philadelphia street and fatally struck a 3-year-old Monday morning. Timothy Robinson, 62, was charged with Involuntary Manslaughter, Homicide by Vehicle, Homicide by Vehicle while DUI, DUI, Reckless Endangerment of Another Person, and Reckless Driving. According to the District Attorney's Office, Robinson was driving on the 3000 block of West Girard Avenue around 11 a.m. Monday when he hopped the curb and struck a mother and her 3-year-old child. Authorities said the mother was not injured, but the 3-year-old was taken to Temple University Hospital where the child died. "Intoxicated driving is never okay, and this tragedy is why," Krasner said in a statement.

Metropolitan Police officer who headbutted a cocktail bar manager after flouting the Covid "rule of six" has been spared jail.PC Luke Wilson, 28, attacked Johnny White while on a boozy night out in the City of London with colleagues from the Lewisham emergency response unit on July 2 last year.Wilson denied the offence but CCTV footage shows him headbutting the victim at Be At One cocktail bar in Monument.Mr White allowed the officers entry to the venue but told them they would have to be seated across different tables in line with the restrictions.Bar staff confronted the group of up to 25 off-duty colleagues for flouting the rules but were told to "lighten up", Westminster Magistrates' Court heard.CCTV shows that by 8pm, some of the group have started moving between tables which resulted in ten people sitting at one of the tables.The bar manager speaks to Wilson and explains that this isn't allowed.He then approaches the group of ten and explains four of them will have to move to another table.Wilson follows Mr White to the table but remains standing up.The footage shows Wilson squaring up to the victim and putting his face within a few inches of the victim's.Mr White steps backwards but the officer moves forward to close the gap between them, then headbutts him.The victim suffered minor injuries and Wilson denied the offence when he was interviewed the next day, claiming he had felt threatened.Wilson was shown CCTV footage of the victim standing with his hands in his back pockets and not appearing to be behaving aggressively towards him.The PC, of Gravesend, Kent, was convicted of common assault following an investigation by the City of London Police.He was sentenced to ten weeks imprisonment, suspended for 12 months,

Tech Crunch. "We’re always thinking about new ways to bring value to our community and enrich the TikTok experience," a company spokesperson told Tech Crunch. Matt Navarra, a social media consultant, retweeted images from Hammond Oh, an influencer who often reveals new or test features on platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, showing the "watch history" option. Oh then tweeted a subsequent image showing that users would be able to revisit past videos for up to seven days. The company did not say whether or not they planned to expand testing or how long they would do so before rolling out the feature to all users, Tech Crunch reported. TikTok’s newest test feature comes as many users have tried overly complicated workarounds to find that video they accidentally lost before liking it or seeing the creator’s handle. TikTok user "rachforaday" posted a video in January that showed users a step-by-step workaround on how to recover a lost video. Users can open up the TikTok app and then go to the bottom and click on the "discover" icon. From there, click into the top search bar and type an asterisk (*). Click search.
