Despite the coronavirus lockdown in the UK there are still some flights coming and going from Manchester Airport. The airport's three terminals are usually flooded with passengers, destined for long-haul getaways and city breaks.
Now, people can no longer go on holiday and only 11 countries will even allow Britons to pass their borders. Airlines around the world have been forced to ground thousands of their planes due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, flights are still coming and going from Manchester Airport every day. Many of the flights arriving at the airport are cargo planes, carrying vital supplies including food and medical equipment.
