Timo Werner has reportedly identified four of Liverpool's features which make Anfield his ideal destination this summer. The RB Leipzig striker, who is expected to cost £51million, has been linked with a move to the Reds for over a year as manager Jurgen Klopp aims to bolster his options up front.

And Werner, 24, is equally keen on the move, though big-money transfers have been thrown into uncertainty by the coronavirus pandemic.

However, even if Werner does not join Liverpool this summer, The Athletic reports that the German could move at a later date.

The report adds that Werner sees Liverpool as the best fit for him on and off the pitch for four reasons: the coach; his potential teammates; the Reds' playing style and the environment
