The city of Wuhan has lifted its coronavirus lockdown after 11 weeks. People are now allowed to leave the central Chinese city, which was once the epicentre of the global Covid-19 pandemic.
However the number of new cases has steadily decreased recently. According to the Chinese government, the city last month recorded its first week with no new cases.
And on Tuesday, China said it had recorded no new daily cases across the entire country. Officially, there have been 83,000 cases and 3,300 deaths in the Hubei region but residents and commentators have questioned those figures, saying they believe they could be much higher.
