Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson Hon FRIBA  (born 19 June 1964) is a British politician, writer, and former journalist serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party since 2019. He was Foreign Secretary from 2016 to 2018 and Mayor of London from 2008 to 2016. Johnson was Member of Parliament for Henley from 2001 to 2008 and has been MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip since 2015. Ideologically, Johnson identifies as a one-nation conservative.

Every Wednesday, the Queen meets the Prime Minster at Buckingham Palace to get an update on what's going on in government. She's seen 13 different politicians come and go during her reign, with Boris Johnson being the 14th to attend the weekly audiences.

Their discussions are always private and they are the only people who know exactly what is said behind those closed doors. But their most recent meeting was very different, with the Queen and Johnson holding the meeting over the phone for the first time due to coronavirus Covid-19.

In line with government guidelines, they are following the social distancing rules and have scrapped the unnecessarily contant.
