Arsenal have reportedly proposed to their players that they will not have to take a pay-cut should they qualify for the Champions League.

Plenty of clubs are having to find ways to save money amid the coronavirus crisis with pressure on players to take a wage cut.

The Premier League season has been postponed since last month and will not return until May at the earliest. Arsenal sit ninth in the table and are eight points behind fourth-placed Chelsea with the Gunners having ten games remaining.

Manchester City are banned from European competitions next season with the thought that fifth place in the Premier League will qualify for the Champions League.
