At least 13 in hospital after horror double decker bus crash

At least 13 people are in hospital following a horror bus crash involving two double deckers outside Manchester city centre.The major incident occurred on Rochdale Road in Manchester at 8.30 on November 9 and saw emergency services including an ambulance chopper rush to the scene.

Shocking images show the two large yellow buses with giant dents and shattered panes of glass from the impact of the collision.

Other photos captured terrified passengers trying to escape from the top deck, reports MEN. Police, fire and North West Ambulance Services remain at the scene the crash left the vehicles badly damage, with debris strewn across the road.

Witnesses said one bus had 'gone into' another and another had 'gone through a metal fence'.A spokesperson for GMP said: "At 8:30am this morning we were called to reports of a road traffic collision between two buses on Rochdale Road, Manchester.
