The body of a 21-year-old man was sadly found in Wigan. Emergency services were called to the Ince area at around 2am yesterday morning (Friday, September 27) after receiving reports of 'concern for the welfare of a man'.
Police officers, fire crews and paramedics all responded. Crews descended on Battersby Street and Petticoat Lane with a cycleway cordoned off for several hours, according to reports.

No further details about him, other than his age, have been released at this stage. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "We were called to the Coniston Avenue area of Ince after receiving a call expressing concern for the welfare of a man.
