Keir Starmer has accused Boris Johnson of not listening to bereaved families as he held a heart-breaking call with people who have lost loved ones to the virus.
The Labour leader said he was deeply frustrated over the Prime Minister’s failure to answer questions on why the UK’s death toll has now exceeded 100,000 - and warned that mistakes risked being repeated. “In a pandemic mistakes will be made but what is unforgivable is when mistakes are made, lessons aren’t learned and mistakes are repeated,” he told the Mirror. “Part of me just wishes that the Prime Minister would spend more time listening to bereaved families and hearing what they have to say. “Because I don’t think he’s hearing those voices, I don’t think he’s hearing what they
