Boris Johson admitted the UK will see future outbreaks of coronavirus as he announced huge easing of lockdown in England. Pubs, hairdressers, hotels, campsites, restaurants, cinemas, museums and galleries will be allowed to open in England from July 4, the PM today told the House of Commons.
Two households will also be able to meet indoors and even stay overnight - as long as they maintain social distancing. And the two-metre social distancing rule will be cut down to a "one metre plus" rule, with people able to be closer if they sit side-by-side or wear a mask.
But as SNP Westminster leader Ian Blackford expressed concerns the virus "has not gone away," the PM admitted we will see future outbreaks of the disease.
