Boris Johnson has warned that the fight against coronavirus is far from over - as he warned that more local outbreaks are likely.
Speaking a few hours after he unveiled ambitious plans to essentially end lockdown in England on July 4, Mr Johnson said Britain's battle against the virus was far from over.
Mr Johnson praised the actions of the public during the lockdown but warned there would be local outbreaks and restrictions may have to be reimposed.
The Prime Minister said: "The Government has asked a huge amount of all of you, and... the people of this country met that challenge with good humour and common sense. "Of course the fight is far from over.
