The coronavirus pandemic may still be fresh in the minds of some but almost four months on from the first lockdown in March 2020, ITV is releasing its latest drama which follows NHS medics during that period.
According to the broadcaster, the three-part drama starts weeks before the UK’s first national lockdown when acute medicine consultant Dr Abbey Henderson and her team struggle with the first wave of Covid-19 patients.
and says it pays tribute to sacrifices made by NHS staff during the Covid-19 pandemic, revealing the reality of hospital life in the face of momentous challenges.
