Prince William unexpectedly backed out of a royal event on Tuesday, sparking concern. As Perezcious readers know, the Prince of Wales has just gotten back into public duties after a break to care for his wife Princess Catherine after her abdominal surgery.

But on Tuesday morning, he called out of a memorial service for his godfather, the late King Constantine II of Greece.

According to DailyMail.com, the 41-year-old was supposed to give a reading at the service, but called the Greek family at the last minute to back out and apologize for his absence, claiming it was due to “personal reasons.” Crown Prince Pavlos, the King’s eldest son, conducted the reading instead. But a Kensington Palace spokesperson has already come out of the woodwork to confirm William’s absence was “due to a personal matter” while insisting the Princess of Wales is “doing well,” Today reported.

Arnold Schwarzenegger reveals recent heart surgery to make him “more of a machine” like the Terminator
Arnold Schwarzenegger has revealed that he had a pacemaker fitted last week after undergoing previous heart surgeries.Schwarzenegger, 76, explained he now has a “machine part” just like his Terminator character – and said he would have to take a pause from going to the gym.Speaking on his podcast Arnold’s Pump Club, released today (March 25), the actor said: ‘Last Monday, I had surgery to become a little bit more of a machine: I got a pacemaker.“I have to tell you, just saying this to all of you goes against so much of my upbringing in Austria, where nobody — ever — talked about medical issues. Everything related to healthcare was kept to yourself.“But I’ve gotten so many messages and emails from people who were born with a bicuspid aortic valve, like me, telling me that talking about my valve replacement surgeries has given them courage and hope to deal with their own.“So, since I know that going against my secretive instinct and being transparent helps people, what choice do I have?”He also went on to reassure his fans that he was “doing great.”“’I had my surgery on Monday, and by Friday, I was already at a big environmental event with my friend and fellow fitness crusader Jane Fonda…’Nobody would ever have thought I started the week with a surgery.“’I want to thank my whole team at the Cleveland Clinic.

Kate Middleton, Prince William head to Sandringham with their kids for Easter amid cancer diagnosis
Kate Middleton and Prince William will be spending some much-needed quality time at Sandringham this Easter. The Prince and Princess of Wales left Adelaide Cottage in Windsor via helicopter on Saturday with their children — Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5 — to head towards Anmer Hall, located on the Sandringham Estate, Entertainment Tonight reports.Middleton, 42, revealed on Friday that she has been undergoing chemotherapy treatment after doctors discovered the cancer during her planned abdominal surgery. The family will spend Easter break at the estate, where they’re expected to see King Charles III, 75, who is also battling cancer.Understandably, the Waleses will stray from tradition this year by not joining the rest of the royal family for Easter services.Instead, they will spend the long Easter weekend together behind closed doors.Charles, for his part, is set to attend a small Easter service with family that’s set to be of much smaller scale than in previous years. It’s unclear if the entire family will unite for a publicized church service this year.Kensington Palace declined to comment. While initial palace guidance said that the Princess won’t return to royal duties until after Easter, it’s now been said that she won’t return to the royal fold until after she’s given the all clear by her doctors.“The Princess will return to official duties when she is cleared to do so by her medical team,” a palace spokesperson said following Middleton’s cancer announcement.“She is in good spirits and is focused on making a full recovery.”The mother-of-three had already stepped back from her duties after having the abdominal surgery in January for what she thought, at the time, was a non-cancerous
