Prince William unexpectedly backed out of a royal event on Tuesday, sparking concern. As Perezcious readers know, the Prince of Wales has just gotten back into public duties after a break to care for his wife Princess Catherine after her abdominal surgery.
But on Tuesday morning, he called out of a memorial service for his godfather, the late King Constantine II of Greece.
According to DailyMail.com, the 41-year-old was supposed to give a reading at the service, but called the Greek family at the last minute to back out and apologize for his absence, claiming it was due to “personal reasons.” Crown Prince Pavlos, the King’s eldest son, conducted the reading instead.
