Brit shoppers could face no changing rooms or customer toilets after lockdown

Shops and restaurants will have to implement strict new measures in order to reopen their stores amid the coronavirus pandemic, a trade association has warned.

The British Retail Consortium published the advice as a number of chains, including Greggs, prepare to open their doors for customers.

Under the advice, clothes shops could have to close their changing rooms down, and restaurants may have to shut their stores as the UK looks to life after lockdown.

The plans cover all retail premises – essential and non-essential – to help those already reopening and those planning to once lockdown restrictions are eased.
