A hard-working baker, Lauren Tomlinson, is celebrating a trio of heartwarming Christmas joys - overcoming cancer, expecting a child despite medical odds, and an astonishing £800,000 lottery win.
After battling cancer and subsequent surgeries, the 33 year old was told she might struggle to get pregnant. Despite being given the devastating news, Lauren is now four months pregnant and has had a huge windfall on the People's Postcode Lottery.
She has vowed to share her fortune with her parents - mum Andrea, also a cancer survivor, and dad Darren, who endured a stroke this year.
Running a home-based cake business with her mother from a cabin in their garden in Rotherham, South Yorks, Lauren envisages using the money to expand their business.
