Coronation Street's Alan Halsall shares 'woeful' update after surgery before date with co-star 'hunk'

Coronation Street star Alan Halsall isn't too pleased with his golfing prowess at the moment as its had to take a back seat amid his recovery from surgery.

The actor described his virtual sporting efforts as 'woeful' as he made comments about going under the knife last year. Alan, who is famed for playing Tyrone Dobbs in the ITV soap, revealed on social media that he was having surgery in November by sharing a picture of himself after going under the knife to fix an ACL injury.

The ACL is one of two ligaments that cross in the middle of the knee, connecting your thighbone to your shinbone and helping stabilize your knee joint.

In the photo shared to his Instagram page, Alan could be seen giving a thumbs up for the camera.
