Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver has spoken about how her own health scare encouraged her to look at her life and what she could do differently to make the most of the time she has.
She made the admission while appearing on Loose Women on Thursday (February 6). She was on the panel alongside Christine Lampard, Judi Love and Kelle Bryan as they spoke about Davina McCall's interview with Steven Bartlett about her recent brain surgery.
The actress said: "I think when anything like that happens, there's two ways to go isn't there," before speaking about her own health issues, which saw her end up in ICU. "I was very shocked by it but what it did to for me is it gave me a little poke and helped me make the decision, as I'm leaving Corrie, it made me wake up and think life is too short," she continued. "It did galvanise me into making change in my life, and a promise to myself that I was going to live fearlessly.
And that meant getting out of my comfort zone." Previously speaking on This Morning in 2019, the actress told how she had a terrifying scare after she began to show symptoms while on set of the ITV soap, where she is famed for playing Eileen Grimshaw.
