A black light video experiment shows how easily germs and viruses such as Covid-19 can spread in restuarants. The test was carried out by TV channel NHK in Japan, in which paint was used to represent a virus show how it could spread in communal areas, such as a restuarant.
The video shows ten people coming into the restaurant, with one person "infected" with the virus. Fluorescent paint was applied to his palms, before the other nine people were seen enjoying the buffet for 30 minutes, before a blue light was turned on, which showed how the virus had spread.
The black light showed the "infection" spread to all nine other people taking part in the experiment, including their hands and even faces.
