Lorraine and Loose Women have both been axed in bid to protect Good Morning Britain and This Morning. ITV daytime have decided to cancel live editions of both shows amid fears over the coronavirus outbreak - starting from Monday.

Lorraine Kelly will now joins Piers Morgan in the GMB studio for the last hour of his show before handing straight over to This Morning.

The decision was made to minimise the number of staff travelling in and out of the ITV studios - with reduced crews on set to combat the spread of the virus.

There will be an extended GMB from 6am until 8am, before Scottish presenter Lorraine joins Piers for the final hour. There will be repeat episodes of Loose Women running in the normal slot between 12.30pm and 1.30pm.
