Police dispersed a large group of footballers and another group of boy racers just hours after the Prime Minister announced the UK was going into lockdown.
Officers were called to Abbey Fields in Chertsey in Surrey today after a group was spotted having a kickabout. Runnymede Beat of Surrey Police posted on Facebook : "The large group of people playing football on Abbey Fields at #Chertsey have been dispersed.
You keep your distance and we’ll keep ours!" The sighting prompted a strong reaction from followers of the page, who dubbed them "morons".
