All Stirling Council schools will be completely closed to all pupils as from tomorrow (Monday, 23 March).The decision follows an announcement from the Scottish Government today (Sunday).Initial plans were for Stirling Council schools to remain open as of Monday to allow S4 to S6 pupils and teaching staff who were fit to attend to complete exam coursework.However, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, has now revealed that all schools will close with the exception of education settings providing temporary care to the children of key essential workers.Ms Sturgeon said: “With immediate effect, no young person with coursework to complete should attend school to do so.“Where coursework can be completed remotely, then these arrangements will be put in
