Susanna Reid has sent a touching Mother's Day messages from self-isolation amid the coronavirus pandemic. The Good Morning Britain presenter gave her best wishes to her own mother and all the other mums across the country.

Susanna, who has been self-isolating this week after a member of her family showed symptoms, gave her mum a "virtual hug and kiss".

Susanna said: "Happy Mother's Day to all the special, wonderful, amazing mums out there and a virtual hug and kiss to my mum.

I love you. To all of you, have a happy day." She is taking part in ITV's new Britain Get Talking campaign to get the nation to reach out to their loved ones.
