Coronavirus testing now available to over 65s and households with symptoms

Coronavirus testing will be made available to all of those over the age of 65, and their households with symptoms, the UK's Health Secretary, Matt Hancock, confirmed on Tuesday.

During April 28th's Downing Street press briefing, Matt Hancock announced the Government will be expanding Covid-19 testing throughout the UK.

Testing will now be available to all of those aged 65 and over with symptoms and those inside their households who have coronavirus symptoms.

Staff and residents of care homes will also have a greater access to testing and will offer all of those with symptoms the opportunity to be tested.
