Popular high street cobblers Timpson is to temporarily close all of its 2,150 branches in response to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson told all pubs, gyms, leisure centres, restaurants, cafes and cinemas across Britain to close "as soon as they reasonably can" on Friday stop the spread of coronavirus.

But that hasn't stopped businesses from other sectors following suit, with Primark following the likes of Pret A Manger and John Lewis to announce they will be temporarily closing their doors over the outbreak.

Timpson will soon be the latest high street company to join them after announcing it will temporarily close from 5pm on Monday.
