HYDERABAD: Two fresh COVID-19 cases were reported in Andhra Pradesh on Thursday, taking the total number of infections in the state to 10.
In neighbouring Telangana, total COVID-19 cases were at 41, including a three-year-old, as per the government's Wednesday night bulletin.
While both state governments have announced measures to tackle the spread of novel coronavirus in their respective states, the consequences of the lockdown in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are gradually coming to the fore.
Telangana on Wednesday allowed thousands of students living in hostels, mostly from Andhra Pradesh, to travel back to their native places.
