The third phase of the mass coronavirus vaccine rollout will target people by age and ethnicity and not occupation, it has been reported.
The reason behind the move is said to be because prioritising workers based on jobs would be too complicated. It comes after it was revealed more than 15 million people in Britain have now had their first dose of a coronavirus vaccine, according to Government figures.
The milestone is key to the Government's lockdown exit strategy for England, with the Prime Minister set to announce his "road map" on February 22.
