TV presenter Davina McCall shared she's "feeling stronger" as she gave fans a health update on Sunday (February 2). The Masked Singer judge revealed late last year that a colloid cyst was found after she was offered a health check-up as part of her menopause advocacy work.
A colloid cyst is a rare, non-cancerous tumour filled with a thick gel-like substance called colloid. Providing fans with a health update early December, Davina admitted: "I know I gave Michael Douglas (her partner) and Kevin O’Neill (the neurosurgeon) a bit of a scare after the operation because I was so confused,” before adding: “But I’m doing so well now, and I just wanted to thank him and all the team for taking such really good care of me.” She also previously shared: "It needs to come out, because if it grows, it would be bad.” In December Davina showed off her post-surgery scar on Instagram, and announced: "It’s good, look at that.
It’s from here across to here and all healed. It’s a bit crusty around here, but no hurting, not infected." Michael Douglas has kept Davina's followers updated during her recovery, with him reassuring fans that the surgery was "textbook" and she was recovering in an intensive care unit as a precaution.
Fast forward to Sunday, Davina updated her two million followers after a morning of exercise. Alongside a snap of a beaming Davina flexing with the word "gains", she wrote: "So this morning me and @mdlondon went on a walk then went to the gym and we felt amazing all day.
