A deaf and autistic boy who lost touch with his friends received more than 700 birthday cards from strangers around the world.
Natasha James, 33, posted an appeal on social media asking if anyone would send son Dylan a card when he turned nine. She said they were stunned by the number that kept arriving by post – even though the coronavirus lockdown had begun.
The youngster spent most of his birthday on Thursday opening 714 of them, from as far away as Australia and the US.
