But if you're trying to cut down on the sugar now – or you're self-isolating alone – then here's a simple recipe which feeds one person.
BBC Good Food shared an easy recipe for a microwave cake online, which doesn't require too many ingredients and takes a couple of minutes to bake.
And the beauty of this tasty chocolate chip cake is that you won't dirty too many things as it is made in your mug. For the ingredients you'll need 4tbsp self-raising flour, 4 tbsp caster sugar, 1 medium egg, 3 tbsp milk, 3 tbsp oil and a few drops vanilla essence.
