Jeremy Vine riskily took a coronavirus antibody test at home, despite it not being approved by the government. The BBC Radio 2 host, 54, took to Twitter on Thursday and shared a video of the test, which was covered in his own blood.

He noted it wasn't a "have you got it" test which the government are having trouble sourcing, and explained it tells you if you have had the deadly virus in the past.

Alongside the clip, he penned: "I have just done a COVID19 test. Note — this is not the “have you got it?” test which the government is having so much trouble sourcing. "This is the “have you had it?” test for antibodies.
