A travellers’ site in East Kilbride has been given vital support during the COVID-19 lockdown.South Lanarkshire Council along with the NHS Keep Well project have assisted those living on their sites including the facility in the town’s Springbank Park in West Mains.They also operate a bigger site in Larkhall.Site officers are maintaining regular contact and are working closely with other council departments and external partners to provide essential services and assist the community to stay safe and to access the help and support they need.The Scottish Government is making additional funding available to provide emergency help for those worse affected by coronavirus.Officers from housing, education and the NHS recently got together to
