Aaron Dingle is seen lying to his mum in Emmerdale next week as he gets news about his own health. As viewers of the ITV soap know, Chas is currently facing her breast cancer diagnosis with a double mastectomy surgery ahead.

A lump was found by Dr Liam Cavanagh as they enjoyed a romantic liaison and, after further tests, it was revealed she had cancer like her late mum Faith Dingle, who died in 2022.

After a break away ahead of her treatment, Chas returned to the village and was seen revealing to her family the cause of her cancer was the BRCA2 gene and that her brothers and son could have it too.

Next week, at their respective houses, Cain, Caleb and Aaron prepare themselves to open their results. Moira Dingle bursts with relief when Cain tests negative for the BRCA2 gene.
