One of the stars of hit ITV reality show My Mum, Your Dad has had an unexpected trip to hospital - and their co-star, dad - was there for support.

Poor Zachary Davidson, 21 , was seen on snaps on social media in a hospital bed wearing a gown and with a tube in his mouth, after his dad Elliott, 53, a P.

E teacher, told fans on Instagram how Zach had ended up there. Explaining that Zach had done himself a mischief playing sport, he said: "It was a long day but all done, hopefully Zach can get back to playing again." And thankfully, it looks like the injury wasn't too serious - as Elliott made a video where he kept saying he was "bored", reports the Mirror, then cracked a joke when he tried to open a door, after leaving the hospital.

Elliott and Zach appeared last year on the ITV dating show hosted by Davina McCall which sees children help their single parents try to find love again.
