A huge fire believed to have been caused by a barbecue is still raging on a moorland near Bolton. Crews are still tackling the blaze on Darwen Moor this morning.
They were first called to the scene just off Bolton Road at around 6pm on Saturday, May 30. The fire is believed to have been started by a barbecue and the person responsible has now been spoken to by police.
Ten fire engines remain on the moor this morning and will be battling the fire all day, a spokesman for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said.
