Piers Morgan
Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Our Food for London Now campaign has garnered widespread media attention with national television, print and social media featuring the efforts of those behind our appeal to tackle food poverty in London.

In just eight weeks, the Evening Standard's campaign has raised more than £4 million for our appeal partner, The Felix Project, to enable them to quadruple their supply of food to Londoners who are unable to afford or access sufficient supplies.

In the last fortnight, Channel 4 have run a short documentary piece on The Felix Project and this week Piers Morgan interviewed Evening Standard proprietor Evgeny Lebedev and comedian Jack Whitehall on Good Morning Britain about the Standard's efforts to tackle rising hunger in London.
