Piers Morgan
Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

After a week off, Piers Morgan took great delight in taking down an apparent supporter of Dominic Cummings during a heated debate.

The Good Morning Britain host is back in the hot seat along with his co-host Susanna Reid - and Brendan O'Neill, Editor of Spiked Online, bore the brunt of today’s rant.

Piers has been vocal on Twitter about his thoughts on Dominic Cummings, who has been criticised for driving more than 260 miles from London to his parents’ home in Durham when his wife displayed coronavirus symptoms.

As the rest of the country was told to heed the government’s lockdown rules, of which the message was ‘stay at home’ - Cummings instead drove from Durham to Barnard Castle to ‘test his eyesight’ before returning to work in London.
