Greater Manchester has had some wonderful weather over the last week but things are about to change as we head into the Easter weekend.

Temperatures in the region will rise to around 21C on Good Friday, but that's only after early morning showers have cleared.

The day is set to remain mostly dry but the Met Office says a few showers may arrive in the south towards the evening. As we head into Saturday, temperatures will take a slight dip but could still remain at around 19C.

The day is forecast to be quite cloudy before light showers arrive in the afternoon. This will continue into Sunday as an overcast day turns again into light showers.
