Grey’s Anatomy is doing more than just saving lives on screen, they have turned into real-life superheroes too. The hit drama and its spin-off show Station 19 have announced that they would be donating surgical gloves, masks and gowns to emergency services.
Doing their part in the current health crisis, executive producer Krista Vernoff told Good Morning America that they had given 300 masks to a local fire station. ‘They were tremendously grateful.
At Grey’s Anatomy, we have a back-stock of gowns and gloves which we are donating as well,’ she said. ‘We are all overwhelmed with gratitude for our healthcare workers during this incredibly difficult time, and in addition to these donations, we are doing our part to help them by staying home.’
