The Hairy Bikers star Dave Myers shared a heartbreaking message following his cancer battle on the latest episode of The Hairy Bikers Go West.The brand new series follows Simon 'Si' King and Dave, 66, as they explore the west coast of the UK after Dave's cancer treatment came to an end.

The star has not specified what type of cancer he has following the announcement he was receiving treatment in May 2022, however he briefly took a break from work before filming the new show, writes The Mirror.On the latest episode of The Hairy Bikers Go West, the duo explored Lancashire, which was extra special for Dave as it is where he was born.At the end of the episode, Dave and Si looked back on their trip and both made emotional statements.Si said: "It’s great getting back here with my best mate.

We didn’t think 18 months ago that we’d be on the bikes again wandering around Dave’s backyard and it's wonderful that we are." Dave smiled: "It’s been glorious.
